VACANCY FOR THE POSITION OF CREATIVE DESIGNER
We are currently seeking to recruit a competent, creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented candidate for the position of Creative Designer. The position is based in Lagos.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
To support the development and execution of high-quality visual and multimedia content that strengthens brand visibility, enhances advocacy campaigns, and promotes effective communication of the organisation’s mission and impact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Creative Design & Graphic Support
- Assist in conceptualising and producing high-quality visual materials for print and digital platforms.
- Design and adapt communication materials including posters, flyers, brochures, banners, and reports.
- Develop social media graphics and digital campaign assets.
- Support event branding (conferences, field activities, fundraising events).
- Collaborate with team members to execute campaign concepts and creative projects.
- Contribute innovative design ideas to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
2. Digital & Social Media Content Design
- Create engaging visual content for social media platforms.
- Develop reusable templates for campaigns, awareness days, and advocacy messaging.
- Support visual storytelling aligned with conservation and sustainability themes.
3. Audiovisual & Multimedia Support
- Provide basic video editing and production support.
- Assist in creating short-form video content for digital platforms.
- Support development of simple motion graphics and animations.
4. Production & Quality Control
- Maintain organised digital archives of design assets and templates.
- Ensure timely delivery of all assigned design tasks.
- Uphold brand consistency across all visual outputs.
EXPERTISE & SKILLS:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalents).
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, etc.).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and branding principles.
- Ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs.
- Knowledge of digital content trends and social media design formats.
- Good file management and production preparation skills.
- Creative and detail oriented.
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Proactive and willing to learn.
- Passion for sustainability, conservation, and advocacy.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in graphic design or creative roles, preferably within NGO, development, media, or corporate environments.
- Practical experience in digital content creation, branding, and multimedia production.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Professional certification in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or Visual Communication is an added advantage.
