Vacancy for the Position of Head of Corporate Services

The Head of Corporate Services leads NCF’s HR (talent acquisition, management, learning & development) and Admin & Procurement (asset management, vendor management, security, and logistics) functions. The role ensures efficient internal operations, policy compliance, and alignment with strategic and donor requirements, driving organizational effectiveness and support for NCF’s mission.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for HR (talent acquisition, management, and learning & development) and Admin & Procurement (asset management, vendor management, procurement, security, and logistics) functions
  • Align internal operations with NCF’s Strategic Action Plan and donor compliance requirements
  • Develop and implement HR and administrative policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks to ensure efficiency and accountability
  • Partner with HR to execute workforce planning, performance management, and staff development initiatives
  • Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and asset lifecycle to optimize resources and maintain compliance
  • Oversee office administration, security, and logistics, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Advise leadership on strategic resourcing and institutional support needs
  • Support CFO and Finance Team in implementing robust internal controls and audit processes
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, staff satisfaction, operational readiness, and compliance outcomes
  • Provide regular updates to EXCO and the Director General on corporate services performance and improvement plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Membership in professional bodies such as:
    • Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM)
    • Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN)
    • Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM)
  • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or IT Governance (e.g., ITIL) are desirable for cross-functional oversight
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience across corporate services functions (HR, Admin, Procurement, and IT), preferably within the non-profit, development, or public sector
  • Minimum of 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisory role with cross-functional responsibility
  • Experience in policy development, systems implementation, and compliance monitoring

  • Advanced workforce planning, talent acquisition, and talent management expertise
  • Strong leadership in learning and development strategy for staff growth and capacity building
  • Strategic oversight of administrative systems, procurement, and vendor management
  • Expertise in asset management, security, and logistics coordination
  • Proficiency in policy development, compliance governance, and operational risk management
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with proven change management experience
  • Familiarity with Nigerian labor law, donor compliance requirements, and audit standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in enterprise tools (ERP, HRIS, procurement systems, etc.)
