Our Centers
The Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) is the foremost environmental membership based NGO in Nigeria established in 1980, with a focus to promote nature conservation and sustainable development.
Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC)
LCC was established in 1990. The project has become an icon of ecotourism and reforestation boasting of native biodiversity that existed in Lekki. Wholly owned by NCF, the project is supported by Chevron Nigeria Limited. It’s 78 hectares at the heart of Lagos - Lekki.
Finima Nature Park
The Park was established by the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) in 2001 as a consensus by the communities of Finima and Bonny in Rivers State to protect the forests. NCF has been managing the 1000 hectares project since 2011.
Becheve Nature Reserve
Located on the Obudu Plateau in Cross River State, the Project is supported by the Leventis Foundation. The 120 hectares is owned by the local communities and managed by NCF since 1998.
Abuja Conservation Centre
A 262 hectares located at Guzape community, Garki 2, Abuja FCT, was inaugurated in 2019 through partnership with TotalEnergies, a global energy company. The centre will be developed to conserve representative samples of flora and fauna in the Federal Capital Territory.
