NCF, Ogun Forestry train Park Rangers


The Nigerian Conservation Foundation, (NCF) in collaboration with the Ogun State Ministry of Forestry organized a one-week Field Training and Orientation Programme for newly recruited 86 Park Rangers in the state from 3rd February to 9th February, 2019. The training held at Omo Forest Reserve, Area J4, Ogun State.


NCF engaged Mr. Blessingtone Chando Maghanga from the Kenya Forest Service to facilitate the training. Maghanga is currently the Station Manager, Buda Forest Station- Kwale County. He has degrees in forest management and well experienced for over 2 decades in nature conservation and forest resources management.


Other facilitators include, Mr. Dolapo Odulana, Acting Permanent Secretary for the Ministry, Dr. Joseph Onoja, Director, Technical Programmes, NCF and OMO Forest Manager.
