The Chief S.L Edu Memorial Lecture is organized annually by NCF in collaboration with the S.L Edu Family and with the support of Chevron Nigeria Limited in honour of Late Chief S.L Edu who was one of the Founders and the first President of the Foundation.
The lecture series is aimed at articulating, and proffering solutions to environmental issues. The 16th lecture series comes up on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) Auditorium, 13/15, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island Lagos, at 11:00 a.m.
The Guest Speaker is Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, Professor of Environmental Law and Policy and Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo. He will speak on “Combatting Illegal Wildlife Trade in West Africa: The role of Environmental Law and Governance”.
Broad and diverse audience consisting of policy makers, researchers and students, local and international press and other environmental stakeholders usually attend the Lecture.
